Elevator/Staircase Hallway Filling // Porta Vadi, Tum Construction

ABS Disposable Formworks were preferred for elevator/staircase hallway fillings at Porta Vadi project by Tum Construction. The original alternative lightweight material was aerated concrete crumbs. But, moving such material to the application area had to be done by hand, occupied a lot of crane and elevator time, it was wet due to winter conditions in Istanbul and the weight of it was still roughly 700 kg/m³. ABS Level H15 was chosen due to its lightness, ease of application and unmatched logistical advantage. Furthermore it created very valuable empty space under the screed that was used for passing electrical and mechanical installations.
