In the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey Project in Istanbul International Finance Center, which is under construction in Istanbul Ataşehir, there was a height difference of approximately 50 cm between the finished hard landscape level in the podium area and the main building entrance level.

However, due to the fact that the filling area is on the floor slab, it is desired that the underlying slab should not be heavily loaded, that is, it should be a light filling, and the new reinforced concrete slab had to have a high load-bearing capacity.

According to the project, the raised hard landscape pavement was required to have a live load carrying capacity of approximately 2 tons/m².

In line with these needs, the reinforced concrete raised floor was constructed by choosing the ABS Plus Disposable Formwork system, which is the lightest filling application solution with its high load carrying capacity.

In addition to the light weight and high strength of the application, thanks to its fast and easy application, significant savings were achieved in terms of both time and cost.

The new reinforced concrete raised floor, which was obtained by using disposable formworks, was 95% empty inside, thus providing great convenience for the passage of drainage pipes under it.
